UNIFORM
Officers must be in uniform to begin a patrol. Currently, players have the capability to wear the standard Los Santos Police Department Uniform and I encourage members to acquire this outfit. Otherwise wear the black leather jacket with our crew emblem visable. Under the jacket, wear a tucked shirt and a tie. As long as dispatch allows your uniform to pass muster, you may participate in the patrol. It is advised that you save your outfit so you don't have to go to the trouble of equipping it before each patrol. As more clothing becomes available in future updates, we may adopt a more structured policy.
Our uniform may also change depending on what badge we're wearing. On a whim, we may put on the Sheriff's badge and dress in green and brown. We also have a badge for the LSPD, although it does say San Andreas on the badge. Here are some examples of the uniforms we use.
LOS SANTOS POLICE UNIFORM
As mentioned above some members have this uniform unlocked and it is a welcome addition regarding the hat and gun belt. Officers may wear this uniform while on patrol. This includes the no belt version and the black shoulder patch version of the uniform. If you do not own this uniform, and desire to, contact a fellow SAHP member and ask them to advise you.
SAN ANDREAS HIGHWAY PATROL KHAKIS
This uniform attempts to emulate the classic CHP khakis. We start with tan pants and the ash shirt, tucked. Then add the black leather jacket, badge emblem, and finally a teal necktie. While e'd prefer a blue stripe down the side of the pants this is as close as we can currently get.
SAN ANDREAS HIGHWAY PATROL BLUES
The California Highway Patrol doesn't just wear khaki. Do an image search of CHP blue uniform and you will see their alternate attire. To recreate this uniform wear the Los Santos police uniform, then apply a navy blue shirt, tucked, and a black necktie. Finally put on the black leather jacket with the crew emblem on the front. This uniform closely resembles CHP blues with the black leather jacket.
COUNTY SHERIFF'S UNIFORM
We rarely wear this anymore, but we once did. To achieve the sheriff's outfit we wear olive dress pants and the ash shirt, tucked. Then apply a black necktie and the brown suede jacket, small emblem on the front. The chestnut cowboy hat is optional head wear.
