Are you having trouble getting involved? Are you a member on XBox that feels as though you haven't had the chance to patrol? If so, this message is for you. I want to offer some advice on how to get into patrols.
The most experienced troopers that get the most patrol time have one thing in common: they send me messages when I get on Grand Theft Auto 5. In other words, proactive players get more experience, naturally. Some send messages as simple as "Patrol?", and that's all it takes. If you see my beacon on, join without hesitation. If you see that I'm in a party, join it.
Should you find that we're already mid patrol, get in a uniform and join anyway. Unless we're maxed out on Officers you can spectate until the next round. You won't have to wait long.
Don't worry about intruding or offending. You shouldn't wait around expecting to get an invitation, as the Officers that reach out when they see me online are likely to fill up the session before I have to issue any invites. So let me leave you with this: Don't be afraid to contact Otto Mattak. That's the best way to get involved.
